SAP BW/ABAP Consultant – Group Consolidation & Reporting Project (India)

About the role

For a long-term project focused on group consolidation and reporting, we are seeking an experienced SAP BW/ABAP Consultant. In this role, you will support the development of new reports, improve existing reporting structures, and design or modify data flows within an SAP landscape.

You will contribute to an international environment where financial transparency, data accuracy, and system integration are key. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders across business and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve SAP BW reports and data models (BW on HANA).
• Design, implement, and enhance data flows, including custom extractors and transformations.
• Write and maintain ABAP routines, function modules, and handle code troubleshooting.
• Support group consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Facilitate structured and efficient reporting by aligning IT solutions with business needs.

Required Skills

• Languages: English
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development (independently designing, debugging, optimizing ABAP routines).
• Extensive knowledge of SAP BW and BW on HANA (data modeling, ETL processes, reporting).
• Strong understanding of SAP consolidation and reporting best practices.
• Comfortable working in a regulated, enterprise-scale environment.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
