We are looking for an experienced SAP Business One HANA Administrator to support the setup of a Disaster Recovery (DR) environment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This is a freelance / contract position for a short-term engagement.

Role: SAP Business One HANA Administrator

Engagement: Freelance / Contract

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: Short-term project (DR setup & testing)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Disaster Recovery architecture for SAP Business One HANA on OCI
• Install and configure SAP Business One HANA environment on DR site
• Configure SAP HANA system replication / DR mechanisms
• Setup and validate backup, recovery, and failover procedures
• Perform DR switchover / failover testing
• Configure network connectivity, VPN, and secure communication between primary and DR environments
• Perform system monitoring, patching, and performance checks
• Document DR architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One on HANA administration
• Experience with SAP HANA installation, configuration, backup, and recovery
• Experience implementing Disaster Recovery / High Availability for SAP environments
• Hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure (OCI preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Knowledge of Linux (SUSE/Linux for HANA), networking, and security
• Experience performing DR testing and failover validation

Preferred Skills

• Experience hosting SAP Business One on cloud environments
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Control Center (CCC)
• Experience in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning

• Must have proven experience implementing SAP HANA DR
