Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Event Mesh Advanced Event Mesh (AEM) to design, implement, and support event-driven integration architectures across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

The consultant will play a key role in enabling real-time, scalable, and resilient communication between distributed applications using event-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using SAP Advanced Event Mesh
• Configure queues, topics, event brokers, and messaging services on SAP BTP
• Set up hybrid event mesh environments (Cloud + On-Premise integration)
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using:
• REST APIs
• AMQP
• MQTT
• Webhooks
• Configure and manage:
• Event Brokers
• Message VPNs
• Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Queue subscriptions
• Implement secure communication using certificates, OAuth, and role collections
• Work with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Cloud Connector
• Monitor and troubleshoot messaging issues and performance bottlenecks
• Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in SAP BTP
• Hands-on experience with SAP Advanced Event Mesh
• Strong knowledge of:
• Event-driven architecture (EDA)
• Pub/Sub messaging patterns
• Microservices integration
• Experience in:
• SAP Integration Suite
• SAP Cloud Connector
• SAP CAP / Node.js / Java (preferred)
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP Certification
• Experience in hybrid integration scenarios
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools
• Experience in high-volume, mission-critical messaging environments
