Role & responsibilities

Job Title: SAP BASIS Lead

Location: Hyderabad / Kolkata

Experience: 6+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP BASIS administration activities across multiple environments.
• Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Manage transport requests and ensure smooth deployment of changes.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams for system integration and support.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BASIS team members.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP BASIS administration (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI, etc.).
• Expertise in system refresh, client copy, and kernel upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with HANA DB administration and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and DB (Oracle/HANA) concepts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
