JOB Description:

MUST HAVE:

SAP Basis administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages (with SUM tool), patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components
Maintain multi-landscape environments through environment copies, system refreshes, and transport management
Should have experience in oracle, SQL databases.
Should have experience in LINUX PLATFORM
Implement best practices, tools, and scripts to automate maintenance tasks.
Create RFCs and should be able to configure TMS (Transport Management System)
Perform routine maintenance such as kernel patches, oracle patches, and application of SAP Notes and fixes.
Monitor and manage the servers, background jobs, performance of the system
Monitor the status of work processes, application servers and system logs etc
Assist the optimization, performance tuning, patching, and DB version upgrades
Work with UNIX team to administer, configure and optimize SAP systems
Work proactively in a team environment with minimum supervision
Accept responsibility and complete tasks in a timely manner
Interact effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
Adapt to new situations, and maintain positive attitude.
Subject to on-call rotation, after hours, and weekend work given the 24x7 need for support and maintenance.
