We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP system administration, kernel upgrades, SPS/EHP updates, HANA database administration, and Solution Manager (SolMan) including ChaRM. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP landscapes across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP System Administration

• Perform Kernel Updates , Support Package Stack (SPS) Updates , and Enhancement Package (EHP) Upgrades .
• Manage SAP system refreshes, client copies, export/import, transport management, and performance monitoring.
• Perform HANA DB administration , including HANA installation, upgrades, version maintenance, back-ups, and performance tuning.
• Handle system monitoring, troubleshooting, log analysis, and root-cause resolution across SAP applications.

SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM

• Configure and manage ChaRM (Change Request Management) .
• Administer SAP Solution Manager 7.2 , including system monitoring, technical scenarios, and diagnostics setup.
• Maintain EarlyWatch Alerts, system recommendations, landscape management, and technical operations.

Upgrades & Migrations

• Execute SAP system upgrades using SUM/DMO tools.
• Support HANA migrations, Unicode conversions, and landscape transitions.

Security & System Health

• Apply security notes via SNOTE.
• Manage user admin, roles, profiles, and authorizations (basic level).
• Perform routine health checks, backup & restore operations, and DR activities.

Documentation & Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and issue logs.
• Work closely with Application, Infra, Security, and Business teams.
