Job Title: SAP Basis Architect (Senior Manager)

Location: CSMT, Mumbai

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Basis Architect with 15+ years of experience to lead and manage the organizations SAP technical landscape. The role requires a senior professional who can independently own SAP Basis architecture, manage complex environments, lead teams, and handle databases end-to-end.

The candidate will act as the technical authority for SAP infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance of all SAP systems.

Key Areas Of Responsibilities:

Architecture & Ownership

• Own and drive the overall SAP Basis architecture and strategy.
• Define standards, best practices, and governance for SAP environments.
• Ensure high availability and performance of SAP systems.
• Act as the final technical escalation point.

SAP Landscape Management

• Independently manage large and complex SAP landscapes.
• Lead SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Oversee transport management and system refresh activities.
• Ensure system stability and uptime.

Database Ownership

• Independently manage SAP databases including SAP HANA and other enterprise databases.
• Define and manage backup and recovery strategies.
• Perform database tuning and optimization.
• Lead database upgrades and migrations.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Design and manage Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Ensure DR readiness and testing.
• Define high availability strategies.

Leadership

• Lead and mentor SAP Basis teams.
• Provide technical direction and guidance.
• Review and approve technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to standards and processes.

Experience and Education Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. in IT or B.Sc. (IT)
• 15+ years of SAP Basis experience
• Strong hands-on technical capability
• Deep knowledge of SAP architecture
• Expertise in SAP installations and upgrades
• Strong SAP HANA and database knowledge
• Experience managing large SAP environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience in production support environments
