Job Title: SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) Consultant

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Location: Pan India (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Demand Planning Consultant to design, implement, and support end-to-end APO DP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and system integration, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

• Design, configure, and enhance planning areas, planning books, data views, and MPOS .
• Set up and manage lifecycle planning, data realignment, and demand forecasting models .
• Develop, test, and maintain macros and Demand Planning (DP) alerts .
• Integrate SAP APO DP with SAP BW and other SAP modules such as SD and MM .
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement for APO DP solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot planning processes, data inconsistencies, and interface issues .
• Work closely with Basis, BI/BW, and OTC teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 68 years of overall experience in SAP APO , with a minimum of 3 years in Demand Planning (DP) .
• Strong hands-on experience with planning books, forecasting models, and integration scenarios .
• Exposure to SAP HANA , GATP , SD , and MM modules is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong configuration expertise in SAP APO DP (knowledge of SNP is a plus).
• Good understanding of CIF , BW interfaces , and preparation of ABAP functional specifications .
• Experience or exposure to S/4HANA migration projects is desirable.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage client expectations effectively.
