Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with ABAP Objects (OOPs in ABAP), Enhancements, and Integration techniques such as RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, and IDocs. A strong understanding of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and OData Services is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement custom programs using ABAP Objects (OOPs), Reports (ALV), Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Create and maintain BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements to support business requirements.
• Design and optimize RFCs and IDocs for integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and manage Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects and perform code optimization for Performance tuning.
• Build and enhance OData Services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Gateway.
• Work with ABAP on HANA technologies including CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and performance-optimized SQL scripting.
• Perform detailed debugging and troubleshooting for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, reusability, and adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core ABAP Programming: Reports, Module Pool Programming, ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts
• Enhancements & Integrations: BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, RFCs, IDocs
• Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP Objects / OOPs)
• Data Dictionary (DDIC) and ABAP Workbench tools
• ABAP on HANA: CDS Views, AMDPs, SQL Performance Tuning
• OData Services / SAP Gateway for Fiori integration
• Debugging and Performance Optimization
• Version Management and Transport Requests

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData integration
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment
• Basic understanding of Functional Modules like MM, SD, FI, HR, or PP
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies
