Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 56 years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in ABAP development along with a solid understanding of SAP modules and integration scenarios. This role involves working closely with functional teams, participating in requirement analysis, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
• Work on Object-Oriented ABAP , BAPIs , BADIs , User Exits , Enhancement Framework , Module Pool , and Data Dictionary Objects .
• Develop and maintain SmartForms , SAPScripts , and Adobe Forms .
• Handle IDocs , ALE , EDI , and interface development.
• Perform performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services (optional but preferred).
• Support SAP upgrades , data migration , and cutover activities .
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
• Provide production support, issue diagnosis, and timely troubleshooting.
• Prepare unit test cases, technical documentation, and transport management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 56 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development .
• Strong knowledge of Core ABAP , OO ABAP , RICEF , IDocs , and Enhancement techniques .
• Experience with SmartForms/SAPScripts/Adobe Forms .
• Good understanding of cross-functional SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP , etc.
• Experience in Debugging & Performance Tuning .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently when required.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Knowledge of Workflow and BPM .
• Exposure to S/4HANA and CDS Views .
• Experience with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
