Job purpose:

The SAP ABAP Team Lead is responsible for leading the SAP ABAP development team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining the SAP system's performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Lead and manage the SAP ABAP development team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP ABAP programs and enhancements
• Innovate by developing advanced solutions and exploring new technologies for implementation.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and SAP guidelines.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Extensive experience with SAP ABAP programming, including reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces and workflows.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and OData services.
• Strong understanding of business processes and SAP modules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
