Job purpose:
The SAP ABAP Team Lead is responsible for leading the SAP ABAP development team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining the SAP system's performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Lead and manage the SAP ABAP development team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP ABAP programs and enhancements
- Innovate by developing advanced solutions and exploring new technologies for implementation.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and SAP guidelines.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Extensive experience with SAP ABAP programming, including reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces and workflows.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and OData services.
- Strong understanding of business processes and SAP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
