Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead SAP ABAP HR Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HCM and ABAP HR development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations and deep technical expertise in HR module development.

This role requires strong client-facing skills, technical problem-solving ability, and experience working in Banking / ITES / Shared Services environments.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)

SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop SAP ABAP HR solutions with minimum 2 end-to-end implementations

Work across SAP HCM core modules including OM, PA, PY, Time Management

Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements

Perform application design, development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support

Develop solutions using ABAP Web Dynpro (mandatory expertise)

Work extensively on WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)

Develop programs using HR Logical Databases (PNP, PCH)

Use HR Macros while reading data from Infotypes

Work with HR-specific Function Modules and BAPIs

Implement Enhancements using BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and ABAP Objects

Support integrations between SAP and Non-SAP systems

Exposure to SAP UI5, Fiori, ODATA, Gateway development (added advantage)

Perform AS-IS / TO-BE documentation and Gap Analysis

Handle support tickets and resolve complex technical issues independently

Prepare technical documentation and functional specifications

Interact with business users and stakeholders for requirement clarification

Required Experience & Skills

58 years of SAP ABAP HR experience

Strong experience in SAP HCM implementation projects

Expertise in ABAP Web Dynpro

Strong knowledge of WRICEF and OOP concepts

Experience in HR Logical Databases (PNP/PCH) and Infotypes

Experience with HR BAPIs and Function Modules

Strong problem-solving and client interfacing skills

Experience in Banking / Technology / ITES / Shared Services organizations preferred

Preferred

Exposure to BRF+

Knowledge of UI5/Fiori/OData/Gateway

Experience in SAP/ERP solution implementation in Banking domain
