Role Overview

GyanSys is seeking a hands-on SAP ABAP / BTP Solution Architect with strong technical depth in S/4HANA, RAP, OData, CDS, and SAP Business Technology Platform. The role demands deep solutioning capability, delivery ownership, and the ability to lead technical teams while remaining actively involved in design and development.

Work Allocation

• Solution & Delivery Ownership 75%
• (Hands-on development, architecture design, reviews, solution blueprinting, issue resolution)
• Practice Development & Presales 25%
• (POCs, reusable assets, proposals, estimations, client workshops)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for SAP ABAP, RAP, CAPM, OData, and BTP-based applications.
• Provide hands-on development , code reviews, performance optimization, and ensure clean-core principles.
• Drive S/4HANA technical design, extensibility, modernization, and cloud-readiness.
• Guide teams across the full SDLC including design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
• Integrate SAP with external systems via APIs, BTP Integration Suite, CPI, Event Mesh .
• Conduct technical workshops with clients and collaborate with functional architects.
• Create architecture documents, standards, reusable frameworks, and best practice guidelines.
• Support presales with solutioning, scoping, effort estimation, and technical presentations.

Required Skills

• 1217 years hands-on SAP ABAP (Object-Oriented, CDS, AMDP, Performance Tuning, Enhancements).
• Strong experience with:
• RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)
• OData Services
• SAP BTP & CAPM
• Fiori integration
• Clean Core extensibility concepts
• Expertise in S/4HANA side-by-side & in-app extensibility.
• At least 23 full-cycle implementations as a senior technical lead/architect.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting capability.

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Knowledge of DevOps for SAP (gCTS, CI/CD, BAS).
• Exposure to cloud-native development, API Management, and event-driven architectures.
