Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Full Stack Lead to own the design, architecture, development, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP product features. This role involves building scalable, reusable, clean-core compliant solutions across backend (ABAP, CDS, RAP) and frontend (Fiori/UI5) layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop product features for SAP S/4HANA & SAP BTP.
• Implement RAP/ABAP REST APIs , CDS Views , Enhancements, Cloud Extensions.
• Build full-stack Fiori/UI5 applications using OData, CDS & UI5 frameworks.
• Apply clean-core , side-by-side extensions, event mesh & cloud extensibility patterns.
• Drive code reviews, quality checks, unit tests & CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, Functional SMEs & QA teams.
• Optimize performance for CDS, OData, RAP actions, RFCs & integrations.
• Provide technical mentorship & enforce secure coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues & deliver root-cause driven fixes.
• Maintain detailed engineering & release documentation.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong ABAP expertise on S/4HANA:
• OO-ABAP, BADIs, Enhancements, AMDP
• CDS Views, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming)
• Custom OData / RAP services & integration patterns (REST, SOAP, RFC, Events)
• SAP BTP Extension Suite (RAP mandatory; CAP optional)
• Fiori/UI5 full-stack development (Controllers, Views, Theming, Reuse Libraries)
• Git, ATC, ABAP Test Cockpit, CI/CD Pipelines
• Deep understanding of Clean-Core principles & Cloud Extensibility

Good-to-Have Skills

• CAP (Node.js/Java), Workflow, Business Rules & Event Mesh
• SAP CPI / Integration Suite
• Exposure to SCM modules PP, PLM, QM, MM, PM
• Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant product builds on BTP

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong engineering mindset with product-driven decision making.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable architecture.
• Experience in team leadership, code governance & design reviews.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management.

Education & Certifications

• BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent
• SAP Certifications in ABAP, RAP, CAP, Fiori/UI5 an added advantage
