As a Quality Engineer in Salesforce DET, you will be part of a software engineering team that delivers customer success functionality built on a Salesforce Service Cloud implementation. You will work with the team of software engineers, product managers, and architects responsible for feature development and application maintenance responsive to the needs of a highly sophisticated and global customer success organization.You will help to ensure every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality. This includes taking part in the test suite creation/execution, design, planning, and enhancement of automation framework, utilities, and tools. You should deliver solutions others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects.This role requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

• Document test plans and publish test results to continuously improve code quality and test coverage

• Participate in product and feature design with developers and product managers

• Plan, design and enhance automation framework, utilities, and tools

• Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues to resolution required

• Participate in and contribute to code reviews

• Work with engineers, business analysts, and product owners for product delivery

• Ensure product quality meets customer expectations

Experience/Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer with knowledge of Selenium automation framework and Java.

• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, such as Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development

• Proficient in at least one of the common OOP languages

• Experience in testing mobile/web/desktop applications on common platforms

• Experience with TDD and BDD

• Experience in Test Plan Design documentation

• Proficient in SOAP/Rest API testing and automation - ResstAssured/Postman or any other tool

• Experience with JIRA/TestRail or any TCM tools

• Experience with Performance testing and automation

• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

• Ability to be a team player, motivate people, ensure accountability, and achieve results

• Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & APIs

• Familiarity with Jenkins or Open Source CI/CD Frameworks

• Experience with Java, Salesforce Field Level Security and industry-standard Security practices

• Experience in unit testing
