Salesforce Release Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Salesforce releases across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and successful deployment of Salesforce changes to production environments. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Release Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate Salesforce releases, including defining release scope, identifying dependencies, and developing release schedules.

2. Release Management: Manage the entire release lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce changes to production environments.

3. Deployment: Develop and implement automated deployment scripts using tools like Salesforce DX, ANT, or other deployment tools.

4. Change Management: Ensure that all changes are properly documented, tested, and approved before deployment to production environments.

5. Stakeholder Management: Communicate release plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including business users, developers, and other technical teams.

6. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with Salesforce releases.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously improve release management processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality.

Technical Skills:

1. Salesforce: Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other related products.

2. Release Management Tools: Experience with Salesforce DX, ANT, or other deployment tools.

3. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

4. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
