Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Consultant with strong Salesforce expertise to
support our Sales team in driving customer acquisitions and solution positioning. This role
involves owning the entire pitch-building lifecyclefrom understanding client
requirements to creating impactful demo assets, solution decks, and delivering engaging
presentations that articulate business value.
The ideal candidate has deep Salesforce product knowledge, strong communication skills,
and proven experience supporting complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Pitch & Proposal Development
Lead the creation of sales pitches, value proposition decks, and customized
solution presentations aligned to client needs.
Translate business challenges into compelling narratives demonstrating our
Salesforce solution capabilities.
Design RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and executive-level briefs with clarity,
accuracy, and business value.
Demo & Asset Creation
Build, maintain, and enhance Salesforce demo orgs, demo workflows, and endto-end customer journey demos.
Develop high-quality demo decks, brochures, feature sheets, industry-specific use
cases, and product positioning material.
Ensure demo assets remain updated with latest Salesforce features and releases.
Sales Cycle Support
Partner with Sales Leads to support the full pre-sales cycle from discovery to
closure.
Participate in client calls, discovery workshops, requirement understanding, and
requirement scoping.
Provide technical and functional insights during prospect discussions.
Collaborate with Delivery/Technical teams for accurate solutioning and effort
estimations.
Salesforce Expertise
Demonstrate deep understanding of Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud,
Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and more.
Map client requirements to Salesforce capabilities and recommend optimal
solutions.
Stay updated on Salesforce ecosystem, releases, industry trends, and best
practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product teams to develop
reusable marketing collateral and solution assets.
Help create standardized sales playbooks, solution frameworks, and
accelerators.
Contribute to internal knowledge base and reusable content repository.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Salesforce Consulting
roles.
Strong functional knowledge of multiple Salesforce Clouds.
Experience creating and delivering high-impact demos and presentations.
Ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions.
Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
Expertise in building proposals, business cases, and ROI/value proposition
documents.
Good understanding of Salesforce implementation cycles and project
methodologies.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consultant)
are a strong plus.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent opportunities and deliver under deadlines.
Nice-to-Have
Experience in multiple industries (e.g., BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing).
Hands-on experience configuring demo orgs.
Exposure to Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Tableau is an advantage.
Familiarity with CPQ or integration tools
