Role Overview
The Salesforce Practice Head & Delivery Leader will own the growth, delivery, and scaling of the Salesforce practice. This role combines GTM ownership, sales leadership, delivery excellence, pre-sales, solutioning, and people leadership , while acting as a senior client-facing leader for Salesforce engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Go-To-Market (GTM) & Sales Ownership
- Define and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for Salesforce services and solutions.
- Drive Salesforce-related sales growth in collaboration with sales and account leadership.
- Own pipeline development, deal shaping, and conversion for Salesforce opportunities.
- Work closely with Salesforce partnerships and alliances to strengthen market positioning.
2. Salesforce Solution Architecture & Partnerships
- Bring strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect .
- Lead solution design, architecture reviews, and best-practice adoption across Salesforce clouds.
- Engage with Salesforce partnership teams to align offerings, certifications, and joint GTM initiatives.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client business objectives.
3. Delivery & Managed Services Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery for Salesforce projects, programs, and managed services.
- Ensure high-quality delivery across Fixed Price, T&M, and Managed Services engagements.
- Establish delivery governance, quality standards, and escalation mechanisms.
- Ensure timely fulfillment and onboarding of Salesforce resources across accounts.
- Act as a senior client-facing leader for delivery reviews, escalations, and strategic discussions.
4. Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead Salesforce pre-sales engagements including solutioning, estimations, and delivery planning.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, solution workshops, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to design winning, delivery-ready solutions.
- Provide input into pricing, effort estimation, and delivery risk mitigation.
5. Practice Development & Capability Building
- Build and scale Salesforce service offerings across relevant Salesforce clouds.
- Drive creation of reusable assets, accelerators, templates, and frameworks.
- Ensure the practice contributes meaningfully to overall business revenue.
- Continuously improve delivery efficiency and practice maturity.
6. Hiring & Talent Management
- Partner with Account Delivery Heads (ADHs) to hire and deploy Salesforce talent.
- Drive hiring of key roles including TDMs, Architects, and senior Salesforce consultants across accounts.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline within the Salesforce practice.
- Mentor and guide senior delivery and technical leaders.
7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-account Salesforce teams and practice leadership.
- Drive team performance, engagement, and retention.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Ensure alignment between sales, delivery, and practice goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Salesforce practice leadership, delivery, and solution architecture .
- Proven background in Salesforce GTM, sales support, and partnership management .
- Hands-on experience delivering Salesforce projects and managed services.
- Strong client-facing, pre-sales, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience hiring and scaling Salesforce teams across multiple accounts.
- Background in IT Services organizations.
