Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of overall Salesforce experience and a strong foundation in Salesforce developmentranging from configuration to custom development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.

This role requires hands-on development expertise, the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and Aura Components.
• Perform Salesforce configuration including but not limited to: Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Workflows, Process Builder, Flows, Page Layouts, and Security settings.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Middleware tools.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce declarative automation to optimize business processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, write test classes, and maintain 75%+ code coverage for deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain version control and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, or SFDX.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases and proactively recommend improvements or new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salesforce Core & Configuration

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model (sharing rules, profiles, permission sets), and declarative automation (Flow, Process Builder, Workflows).
• Experience in designing custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.

Apex Development

• Expertise in Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, Queueable Apex, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Strong understanding of governor limits and writing optimized, bulkified code.
• Experience in writing test classes with comprehensive assertion coverage.

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in LWC development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with Aura Components is a plus.

Salesforce APIs & Integration

• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Callouts, and External Services.
• Familiarity with Postman, Workbench, and API debugging tools.
• Understanding of Connected Apps, OAuth, and authentication flows.

Development & DevOps Tools

• Experience with SFDX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with sandbox management and metadata deployment using Ant Migration Tool or VS Code CLI.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and delivering effective fixes.
• Ability to think critically and propose alternatives when constraints or limitations arise.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Salesforce Certification(s):
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Mandatory)
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred)
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (Preferred)
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I (Nice to have)
• Experience in Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Exposure to Copado, Gearset, or other DevOps tools.
