Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions
aligned with client business objectives and technology landscape.
Conduct business requirement workshops and translate functional needs into scalable
Data Cloud configurations and technical specifications.
Architect and implement Data Cloud solutions including Data Streams, Data Model
Objects (DMOs), Calculated Insights, and Segmentation.
Design and configure data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and real-time data
activation across Salesforce and external platforms.
Integrate Data Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, and third-
party systems using APIs, connectors, and middleware tools.
Collaborate with functional consultants to define customer 360 strategies, data
unification, and personalized engagement use cases.
Perform system health checks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform performance.
Work closely with global KPMG teams to ensure consistent delivery quality,
documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to thought leadership, internal capability building, and mentoring of junior
consultants in Salesforce Data Cloud delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Domain Expertise

Strong experience in Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform implementation and configuration.
Proficiency in Data Streams, Data Model Objects, Calculated Insights, Segmentation, and Activation.
Technical expertise in data modeling, identity resolution, API integration, and deployment management.
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is desirable.
Understanding of Salesforce architecture, governance, and best practices for scalable enterprise data solutions.

Functional and Consulting Skills

Proven ability to elicit business requirements, map customer data journeys, and design

data-driven CRM processes.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills with a consulting mindset.

Experience in translating marketing, sales, or service strategies into Salesforce Data

Cloud enabled solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to interface with senior stakeholders

and cross-functional teams.

Exposure to multi-cloud implementations and data-driven marketing strategy design.

Technology Awareness

Experience in integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Salesforce and external marketing

ecosystems.

Understanding of data privacy, consent management, and data governance principles.

Adept at using modern productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Jira, Confluence,

MS PowerPoint, Excel).

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/MBA from a reputed institution.
6+ years of total experience in Salesforce data cloud consulting and delivery roles.
Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Data Cloud Consultant) preferred.
Prior experience in a consulting environment or Big 4 setup is desirable.
