Summary:

As a Salesforce Data 360 Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader driving the delivery of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions across programs and teams. You will support team leads and developers, ensure high-quality and scalable implementations, and act as the primary technical and delivery point of contact. This role is ideal for professionals progressing toward enterprise data leadership and interested in AI, Agentforce, and emerging Data Cloud capabilities. You will lead the design, build, and configuration of Data 360 solutions, guide teams through complex data and identity challenges, and actively participate in problem-solving while ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and business alignment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end Data 360 delivery by governing data ingestion (batch, streaming, APIs, Zero Copy), data modeling and identity unification, Data Transforms and Calculated Insights, and effective segmentation and activation across Marketing Cloud, Personalization, and AI-driven use cases.

Own solution design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.

Prepare data modeling, DMOs, and relationship design

Act as the primary technical and delivery point of contact for Data 360 initiatives.

Ensure best practices for scalability, performance, and data governance.

Guide teams in designing, building, configuring, and deploying scalable Data Cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.

Review and govern technical designs, ensuring adherence to Data Cloud best practices, performance, and security standard

Partner with business, marketing, analytics, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery roadmaps.

Drive UAT, go-live readiness, and post-production optimization.

Support defect resolution and optimization activities.

Translate business requirements into actionable technical designs.

Provide effort estimates, delivery plans, and status updates to leadership.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) in enterprise implementations

Drive adoption of advanced Data Cloud capabilities including Agentforce, Einstein AI, Zero Copy, Semantic Layer, and Document AI. Data Streams & DMOs

Deep understanding of Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Data Transforms, Calculated Insights, Segmentation, and Activation.

Proven ability to design and govern data ingestion strategies (batch, streaming, APIs, Zero Copy).

Ability to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Advanced SQL skills for analytics and Calculated insights.

Experience with APIs, event data, and cloud data platforms.

Experience working with JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines.

Understanding of event-based data and customer engagement tracking.

Basic understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions.

Good to have Skills:

Experience integrating Data Cloud with Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Journeys, Contact Builder, and activation flows.

Exposure to Salesforce Personalization, Agentforce, and Einstein AI is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

2-10 years of Salesforce experience.

1-2 years experience in Data 360 implementation projects is required

Experience working in Agile teams.

15 years of full-time education is required.

Experience working with enterprise customers.
