Salesforce Application Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, challenges, and goals related to the Salesforce platform.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate and participate in discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and user interviews.
• Assist the Project Manager with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization of development work.
• Partner with developers and solution architects to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by helping define test cases, coordinating testers, and tracking feedback.
• Create Release Notes for all stories in the portfolio
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, process flows, and application enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help define scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Graduates with 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar role.
• 5+ years Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce.com orgs with 500+ users.
• Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with declarative Salesforce tools like Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules.
• Understanding of data management best practices and reporting within Salesforce.
• Experience managing and creating and user stories
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business language into technical requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a mid-to-large enterprise environment
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce BA Cert or Comp
• Salesforce App builder or Comp
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies
• Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office/365 Suite, or similar project collaboration 
   

Location:

• India – (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
