Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer who will be responsible for designing, curating, and implementing structured sales training programs for all Relationship Managers. This role is critical in ensuring every RM is well-versed in private market products, compliant sales communication, objection handling, and high-conversion sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs & Learning Strategy
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) and deliver training programs aligned with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement structured training programs to foster a strong learning culture.
- Align learning strategies with organizational goals to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.
Training & Module Development
- Design and develop end-to-end sales training modules covering:
- Pre-IPO Investments and Unlisted Securities.
- Private Equity & Early-Stage Equity Investments
- Create comprehensive on boarding programs for new Relationship Managers (RMs).
- Develop learning materials including sales scripts, FAQs, objection-handling playbooks.
Training Delivery & Implementation
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-floor training sessions.
- Certify Relationship Managers before they are authorized to pitch live deals.
- Train sales teams on ethical selling practices and investor suitability norms.
- Roll out refresher and update training programs whenever new products or deals are introduced.
Sales Performance Enablement
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align training initiatives with monthly and quarterly targets.
- Track post-training performance and refine modules based on conversion and productivity metrics.
- Coach Relationship Managers on closing high-value private market deals.
Process & Standardization
- Develop standardized pitch frameworks and communication guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in product messaging across all sales teams.
- Coordinate with research teams to keep training content accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Qualifications & Skills
- Finance background mandatory
- Education: B.Com / MBA Finance / CFP or equivalent
- Experience : 48 years of experience in Finance Industry
- Salary Range: 40000 to 70000 (Flexible for suitably qualified and experienced candidates.)
