About the Team and the Role

The Talent Development team at Ather is responsible for building relationships and understanding the training needs of sales and Customer Support teams to enhance retail performance.

This role is for a Sales Trainer who will conduct new hire and ongoing training for sales and CREs across company-owned and retail partner locations to improve customer satisfaction and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct New Hire Training and ongoing product, process, and skills training for Sales and CREs at both Company-owned and Retail Partner locations.

• Deliver engaging in-person and virtual learning sessions using adult learning methodologies and short-burst refresher modules.

• Support new product launches by preparing and facilitating training content and managing certification drives.

• Partner with area sales managers to identify training gaps and assess readiness levels within the region.

• Provide need-based training and coaching by visiting Experience Centers and monitoring customer interaction calls to identify opportunities.

• Improve customer-satisfaction ratings and Net Promoter scores by providing dedicated training on business communication.

• Track post-training effectiveness and maintain updated records, attendance, and evaluation reports for management.

• Continuously review and update training materials and process modules to ensure information remains relevant and current.

Experience and Qualifications

• Any Graduation

• 3–6 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or front-line sales roles (preferably in automotive, FMCG, telecom, or EV sector)

Must Have Competencies

• Proficiency in facilitating skill-based and product training programs within a retail or sales environment.

• Application of adult learning methodologies to deliver engaging in-person and virtual learning sessions.

• Implementation of blended learning approaches including e-learning, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and field coaching.

• Design and development of training modules and content for product launches and refresher sessions.

Good to Have Competencies

• Data-driven assessment of training effectiveness through the tracking of evaluation reports and business impact metrics.

• Performance consulting by partnering with sales leadership to identify competency gaps and readiness levels.

• Quality auditing through call listening and field observations to provide targeted coaching interventions.

• Knowledge of Net Promoter Score (NPS) drivers and business communication frameworks to improve customer satisfaction.
