IFC Ventures Pvt Ltd is supporting the hiring process on behalf of the Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) for a structured Sales Trainee program designed to develop future Academic Counselors.

The Boston Institute of Analytics is a career-focused education institute offering industry-aligned programs in data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, finance, and analytics. This program provides hands-on exposure to student counseling, admissions processes, and consultative sales within an EdTech environment.

Candidates who successfully complete the training program and meet performance expectations may be considered for a full-time academic counselor role with Boston Institute of Analytics.


Program Overview

This structured 2-month training program combines practical exposure with guided learning in admissions counseling and inside sales. Trainees will work with real student inquiries, learn consultative counseling techniques, and understand the complete admissions lifecycle.

The program is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in EdTech sales and student counseling.


Key Responsibilities


Lead Qualification & First-Level Counseling

  • Interact with prospective students via calls, WhatsApp, website inquiries, and social platforms.
  • Understand academic background, interests, and career goals to guide students toward suitable programs.
  • Support early-stage lead qualification within the admissions funnel.


Program & Career Guidance

  • Explain program offerings, curriculum structure, learning outcomes, and career pathways.
  • Provide clear information regarding course details, schedules, and enrollment processes.
  • Help students understand how programs align with career opportunities.


Admissions Process Support

  • Assist students through application and enrollment steps.
  • Coordinate documentation, scheduling, and status updates within CRM systems.
  • Ensure smooth progression of candidates through the admissions journey.


Follow-Ups & Conversion Support

  • Conduct structured follow-ups with interested candidates.
  • Address queries and provide timely communication to maintain engagement.
  • Support admissions conversions through relationship-building and consistent communication.


Counseling Sessions & Presentations

  • Participate in one-to-one counseling calls, virtual meetings, and information sessions.
  • Support webinars and student engagement activities when required.


CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes in CRM tools.
  • Submit daily activity updates and follow-up reports.
  • Ensure disciplined lead tracking and coordination.


Collaboration & Professional Representation

  • Work closely with marketing and admissions teams to share student feedback and insights.
  • Maintain professional communication standards while representing the brand.
