About You


The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for leading and driving the performance of Kayanas Mumbai-based sales team, ensuring consistent pipeline generation, deal conversion, and revenue growth in the International market.


Reporting directly to the Global Sales Director, this role plays a critical part in executing Kayanas regional sales strategy, supporting market expansion, and maintaining high standards of sales execution and customer engagement.



Key Responsibilities


  1. Lead, manage, and motivate the Mumbai sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  2. Monitor team performance, provide regular coaching, and support team members in improving their sales results.
  3. Drive day-to-day sales activities including lead generation, follow-ups, pipeline management, and deal closure.
  4. Ensure the team maintains accurate and updated records in the CRM system for reporting and forecasting purposes.
  5. Support the team in handling key client discussions, negotiations, and high-value opportunities when needed.
  6. Work closely with the Global Sales Director to align local sales efforts with the overall business strategy.
  7. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth lead handover, customer onboarding, and market feedback sharing.
  8. Maintain a strong understanding of the International market, customer needs, and competitor activity to support business growth.
  9. Ensure high standards of professionalism, accountability, and customer service across the team.


What We're Looking For


  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
  2. A young, dynamic, and driven sales professional who is highly motivated to grow, passionate about sales, and focused on achieving strong revenue results.
  3. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Experience in B2B, SaaS, POS technology, or hospitality technology solutions is highly preferred.
  5. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Starting salary at 30,000 INR per month
