Job Description
We are The Biometric Gateway - a universal API platform serving 11,000+ customers across 104 countries with 80,000+ connected devices. We help ERP and HRMS companies integrate with any biometric device globally.
We need a Sales Team Leader to manage a 3-5 member team focused on building ERP and HRMS partnerships through digital channels. You'll manage Tele Sales Executives, Partnership Executives, and Digital Marketers. This is 80% team management, 20% hands-on support.
1. Team Management
- Assign daily/weekly tasks to team members
- Conduct regular team meetings and 1-on-1s
- Remove blockers and provide guidance
- Review and approve all client-facing content: emails, LinkedIn posts, campaigns, proposals
- Monitor digital content performance: track analytics, engagement, post reach
2. Performance Tracking
- Monitor daily activities in CRM (calls, emails, meetings, pipeline)
- Track conversion rates and individual performance
- Review call recordings and email quality
- Identify coaching opportunities
3. Target Setting
- Break down monthly company targets to individual level
- Set realistic daily and weekly activity goals
- Adjust targets based on performance and market conditions
4. Reporting to CEO
- Weekly: Pipeline status, wins, losses, blockers
- Monthly: Team performance scorecard and forecast
- Escalate critical issues
- Daily activities and pipeline movement
- Individual team member performance vs targets
- Conversion rates at each sales stage
- Overall team target achievement
- Content quality and approval turnaround time
- Digital content performance: post engagement, reach, lead generation from campaigns
5-10 years in B2B sales with 3+ years managing teams (3-5 people minimum)
CRM expertise - Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar (
Excel/Sheets proficiency - dashboards, pivot tables, formulas
Performance tracking - built scorecards, reports, KPIs
Process-oriented - created SOPs, workflows
Content quality control - review and approve team's emails, social posts, campaigns before publishing
Digital analytics understanding - track social media metrics, post engagement, content performance
Strong communication - clear instructions, constructive feedback
Inside sales / tele-sales team management
B2B SaaS or tech industry experience
Digital-first sales background
Partnership or channel sales exposure
Comfortable using AI tools for productivity
To personally close all deals (team executes)
To be an expert in everything (specialists handle their domains)
15+ years or senior leadership background
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000/month (4.8 - 6 LPA)
