Job Title: Inside Sales Team Lead

Location: Bengaluru

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent



We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Leader to manage, motivate, and guide our sales team within the EdTech division. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets. This role involves team management, performance monitoring, training, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities


Team Leadership & Management

Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Admission counsellors to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Conduct daily/weekly team meetings, set clear goals, and track performance.

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans.


Sales & Revenue Growth

Drive student enrollments and meet revenue targets for assigned products, programs, or branches.

Monitor lead pipelines and ensure timely follow-up and conversion by the team.

Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversions and overall performance.


Process Management

Ensure the team follows standard sales processes, CRM usage, and reporting protocols.

Analyze sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Coordinate with marketing, operations, and academic teams for smooth workflows.


Training & Development

Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate necessary training sessions.

Mentor new joiners and help them adapt quickly to systems and sales processes.


Customer Relationship Management

Ensure high-quality interactions with prospects and students.

Handle escalated customer queries and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain strong relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.


Requirements


Education

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Experience

Minimum 35 years of sales experience, preferably in the EdTech / Education / Training industry.

Minimum 2 year of team handling experience is an added advantage.
