Sales & Trek Consultant

Are you an adventurous, results-driven professional with a passion for the great outdoors and a proven ability to close deals? TrekNomads is looking for a dynamic Sales & Trek Consultant to join our mission of crafting unforgettable trekking experiences. This pivotal role requires a consultative selling approach to expand our customer base, nurture relationships, and drive revenue growth in the exhilarating world of adventure travel.


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a high-energy hunter and farmer, exceptionally skilled in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with a genuine passion for trekking and adventure. You will leverage your industry expertise to provide personalised, consultative advice, turning qualified leads into excited trekkers and long-term TrekNomads patrons.


Core Responsibilities: Charting the Course to Success

  • Revenue Generation: Consistently meet and exceed ambitious monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing the entire sales lifecycle.
  • Business Development: Proactively generate new business by penetrating target segments and effectively nurturing the existing database of high-potential leads.
  • Consultative Sales: Utilise deep product knowledge to adopt a consultative selling approach, understanding customer needs to recommend the perfect TrekNomads experience.
  • Pipeline Management: Rigorously analyse assigned leads, maintaining an accurate and well-organised sales funnel.
  • Sales-to-Operations Handoff: Coordinate closely with the Operations Team to ensure a smooth post-sales transition, managing the customer journey right up until post-trek feedback collection, thereby guaranteeing a superior customer experience.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Marketing Team to optimise lead quality, enhance conversion strategies, and ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong, trust-based, and long-term relationships with customers, positioning TrekNomads as their lifetime adventure partner.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Generate detailed weekly sales forecasts and pipeline reports, and present comprehensive performance analyses during weekly and monthly review meetings.
  • CRM Management: Maintain impeccable records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline statuses within the CRM system, generating necessary daily and monthly reports.


Essential Qualifications: Your Trekking Gear

  • Industry Experience: 2-5 years of demonstrated success in a direct sales role, specifically within the Travel, Adventure, or Trekking Industry, is mandatory.
  • Sales Achievement: A verifiable, demonstrable track record of consistently over achieving sales quotas and delivering high-performance results.
  • Professional Acumen: Possess a high degree of discipline, time management efficiency, and integrity/honesty towards work and company goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven experience and operational knowledge of working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, FreshSales, Wati, etc).
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, enabling you to clearly articulate the value of a TrekNomads experience.
  • Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, along with professional skills in Word and formal email correspondence.
  • Personal Attribute: A genuine enthusiasm for trekking and adventure travel that translates into passionate customer engagement.


CTC Budget: 3-6L per annum
