Job Description: ERP Sales Executive (Field Sales)

Location: Gujarat (Ahmedabad / Vadodara / Surat / Rajkot / Vapi)

Role Type: Full-Time | On-Field | B2B Sales

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated ERP Sales Executive to join our team.

The role involves on-field sales, meeting manufacturing companies, identifying requirements, conducting demos, and closing ERP deals.

The candidate must be confident, proactive, and comfortable visiting factories and industrial zones across Gujarat.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Visit industrial areas (GIDC zones) to identify potential manufacturing clients.

Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, LinkedIn, industrial associations, and networking.

Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.

2. Client Meetings

Meet Owners, Directors, Plant Heads, HR Managers, and Accounts teams to understand their processes.

Explain how Prectech ERP solves pain points in production, inventory, HR, payroll, GST, and compliance.

Conduct requirement gathering during factory visits.

3. Presentations & Demonstrations

Present product demos (on laptop/tablet) to stakeholders.

Showcase manufacturing-specific case studies and ROI benefits.

Coordinate with the technical team for custom or deep-dive demos.

4. Proposal & Negotiation

Submit proposals as per client requirements.

Handle negotiations professionally.

Drive closure with complete documentation.

5. Follow-ups & Relationship Management

Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects until deal closure.

Build long-term relationships with clients for upsell and referrals.

Ensure timely communication with the internal team.

6. Reporting & Coordination

Maintain daily visit reports and client updates in CRM.

Coordinate with sales manager and technical teams regarding client needs.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.


Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in ERP, SaaS, IT software, or industrial solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to understand manufacturing workflows.

Comfortable travelling across Gujarat.

Good negotiation and closing skills.

Tech-savvy: Basic understanding of ERP systems, Excel, and CRM tools.

Self-motivated and target-driven.


Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience in selling to manufacturing or factory clients.

Familiarity with GIDC industrial clusters.

English, Hindi, Gujarati-speaking preferred for smooth communication.
