About CredX

CredX is building a verification-first hiring platform that helps employers reduce screening time, improve hiring quality, and hire faster with structured pipelines and trusted candidate profiles. Were scaling our employer onboarding engine in India and looking for high-energy sales talent to join us at the ground level.


Role Summary

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CredX, you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings and onboarding employers (HR teams, founders, talent acquisition leaders, and staffing/consultancy owners) onto the CredX platform through outbound outreach, follow-ups, and consultative conversations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting to identify and engage employers via cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp (where appropriate)
  • Qualify prospects using simple frameworks (company size, hiring volume, urgency, decision maker)
  • Book and coordinate product demos with senior team / manager
  • Follow-up consistently with prospects and move them through the pipeline toward activation (signup + first meaningful action)
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and pipeline updates in the CRM
  • Learn and execute CredX messaging, objection handling, and pitch scripts
  • Collaborate with Lead Gen / Research team for high-quality targeting and signal-based outreach
  • Hit weekly and monthly targets for outreach, meetings, activations, and conversions


What Were Looking For

Must-Have

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in B2B sales / inside sales / business development / SDR (SaaS is a plus)
  • Strong spoken communication in English (Hindi/Telugu is a plus)
  • Comfortable with cold calling and high daily activity
  • Coachable mindset: ability to learn scripts, handle feedback, improve fast
  • Self-driven and competitive attitude with high discipline
  • Basic CRM discipline (even if you havent used one formally)


Great-to-Have

  • Prior experience selling to HR / recruiters / founders / consultancies
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and sequencing tools
  • Experience working in target-driven environments (sales, call centers, edtech, staffing, fintech, SaaS)


Performance Expectations

  • Make 100120 outbound calls/day
  • Run structured follow-ups and pipeline updates daily
  • Generate consistent qualified meetings and activations
  • Improve conversion rates week-over-week through coaching and call reviews
