- MBA (Sales / Marketing) is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Solar Sales / Enterprise Sales / EPC Business .
- Strong exposure to solar trade, EPC sales, or developer-led projects .
- Experience in handling large-value solar projects and long sales cycles.
- Prior experience working with C&I customers, EPCs, developers, and consultants is mandatory.

Role Summary
The Enterprise Business Sales (Solar Trade) role is responsible for driving revenue growth through large-scale solar projects across Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Utility-scale, and Institutional segments . The position focuses on project sales, EPC engagement, tendering, and key account management to ensure successful conversion of solar opportunities from identification to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Solar Project & Enterprise Sales
- Identify and develop enterprise-level business opportunities in solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects .
- Drive sales across C&I, utility-scale, institutional, and government-linked solar projects .
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, technical discussions, proposal submission, negotiation, to order closure .
EPC & Channel Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Solar EPCs, Developers, System Integrators, and Project Consultants .
- Engage with end customers, corporates, industrial houses, and institutions for solar adoption.
- Coordinate with distributors and channel partners for trade-based sales where applicable.
Tendering & Bid Management
- Track and participate in solar tenders, RFPs, and RFQs (government and private).
- Lead pre-bid meetings, techno-commercial submissions, and price negotiations.
- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams for system design and BOQ finalization.
Market Development & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, policy changes, subsidies, and regulatory developments in the solar sector.
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and technology advancements (modules, inverters, BOS).
- Develop account-specific and segment-specific growth strategies.
Project Execution Support
- Coordinate with project execution, SCM, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Track project milestones, billing, and collections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate MIS reports on sales pipeline, orders, revenue, and market intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
