Job Title: Sales & Service Executive Textile Machinery Spares (North India)
Location: Based in Rajkot/ Coimbatore (requires extensive travel)
Territory Coverage: Northern India, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi NCR, and Jammu & Kashmir.
Reporting To: Sales and Service Head
Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth and provide technical service support for textile machinery spares, specifically lattice and pinned rollers, across the assigned territory by developing customer relationships and expanding the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Promote and sell lattice and pinned rollers to spinning mills, textile manufacturers, and OEMs.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and collection objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand presence in existing accounts.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide feedback to management.
Service & Technical Support:
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for lattice and pinned roller applications.
- Visit customer sites for installation guidance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Address customer complaints promptly and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on proper maintenance.
Relationship & Territory Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with mill owners, maintenance heads, and purchase teams.
- Execute regular customer visits according to the territory coverage plan.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, orders, dispatches, and payments.
- Participate in exhibitions and trade shows as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Textile, or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
- 37 years of experience in sales or service of textile machinery or spares.
- Strong knowledge of spinning machinery components, especially rollers and lattices.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM exposure preferred.
Travel Requirement :
- Extensive travel across the assigned territory.
