Job Title: Sales & Service Engineer Foundry Industry


Company: Sriram Enterprises

Location: South India (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana)

Base Location: Chennai/Coimbatore

Experience Required: 38 years in Industrial Sales/Marketing (preferably Foundry-related)

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related Engineering discipline

Employment Type: Full-time Field-based role with extensive travel

Job Role


The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for promoting, selling, and servicing our range of products to foundries across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana . Key locations include Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tenali, Tirupati, and Srikalahasti.



Key Responsibilities


  • Visit existing and potential customers (foundries) to introduce, demonstrate, and promote our product range.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer suitable product solutions.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure orders.
  • Follow up to convert inquiries into repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support and technical assistance when required.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and gain/loss customer reports for management review.
  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to strategic sales planning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.



Desired Candidate Profile


  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related engineering fields.
  • Experience: 38 years in industrial/B2B sales; Foundry industry experience preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand and explain engineering products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
