About the Role

upGrad School of Technology is hiring a highly analytical and business-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to drive data-led decision-making for the Inside Sales function.

This role goes beyond reporting. It focuses on performance analytics, funnel optimization, forecasting, dashboard automation, and generating strategic insights to improve sales productivity and revenue outcomes.

You will work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Management to ensure strong performance visibility, process efficiency, and scalable sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Design and automate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales Reports
  • Extract and structure data from LeadSquared CRM for analytics and reporting
  • Build dynamic dashboards for:
  • Individual performance
  • Team productivity
  • Revenue tracking
  • Funnel conversion analysis
  • Develop management dashboards with trend and variance analysis

Funnel & Performance Analytics

  • Analyze end-to-end sales funnel (Lead Contact Follow-up Conversion Revenue)
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct cohort and conversion trend analysis
  • Track productivity metrics such as:
  • Connect rate
  • Talk time
  • Follow-up adherence
  • Closure ratios
  • Provide actionable insights to improve revenue per rep and team efficiency

Forecasting & Business Planning

  • Support revenue forecasting and pipeline health tracking
  • Perform target vs achievement variance analysis
  • Assist in capacity planning and performance projections
  • Validate incentive structures and payout calculations

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Standardize sales metrics and reporting definitions
  • Automate repetitive reporting processes
  • Collaborate with CRM/Tech teams to enhance LeadSquared reporting
  • Improve reporting accuracy and reduce manual dependencies

Required Skills

  • 25 years of experience in Sales Operations / Sales Analytics / Business Analytics
  • Hands-on experience with LeadSquared CRM data extraction (Mandatory)
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, dashboards, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels and inside sales metrics
  • Ability to convert raw data into business insights
  • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
  • High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio
  • Knowledge of trend analysis, cohort analysis, and forecasting
  • Experience in high-velocity Inside Sales environments
  • Experience in EdTech or Education sales setup
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (Good to Have)
