Sales Manager Transformer Insulation


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our transformer insulation business. The role combines strong commercial leadership with a solid understanding of transformer insulation products and applications, including pressboard, insulation paper, and related components. The Sales Manager will define sales strategy, manage key customer relationships, and guide the sales team to drive sustainable growth in the transformer industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Set sales objectives, budgets, and forecasts
  • Identify new markets, customers, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor sales performance and implement improvement actions
Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team
  • Set individual targets and evaluate performance
  • Support negotiations and key customer engagements
  • Recruit and develop sales talent as the business expands
Key Account & Customer Management
  • Manage relationships with key and strategic customers
  • Lead major commercial negotiations and contract discussions
  • Build long-term customer partnerships
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Business Development & Market Awareness
  • Strengthen market presence and brand positioning
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events
  • Maintain a strong industry network
Internal Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and management teams
  • Ensure effective order execution and customer support
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and management updates
  • Contribute to pricing and commercial policies
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, including leadership or management responsibility
  • Experience in industrial or electrical products, preferably within the transformer or insulation sector
Skills
  • Strong understanding of transformer insulation products and market dynamics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach
