Assistant Manager Sales- Renewable


Work location: Noida/ Delhi NCR Reports to: Senior Regional Sales Manager

Minimum Qualification:

B.E. in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Computer Science or equivalent with 8- 10 years of relevant experience in Renewable / Power / Automation domain.

Objective/Purpose:

Drive business growth in Utility-Scale Renewable Digital & Automation Solutions. The role involves end-to-end techno-commercial sales of SCADA, PPC, EMS, SAS and related digital solutions for Solar and Hybrid Renewable projects, managing the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to order closure.

Required skills( Must Have):

Proven experience in Utility-Scale Solar / Hybrid Renewable projects

Strong knowledge of SCADA, PPC, EMS, Substation Automation (SAS)

Experience in techno-commercial sales & bid management

Exposure to IPPs, EPCs, Utilities & Developers

Strong negotiation and contract finalization capability

Ability to collaborate with pre-sales, proposal and project teams

Strong presentation & communication skills

Good to Have (Optional Exposure):

Experience in Grid Studies sales (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Stability Studies, Grid Compliance, etc.)

Exposure to CEA / Grid Connectivity requirements

Understanding of system studies linked to renewable integration


Job duties & responsibilities:


1. Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Identify and develop new opportunities in Renewable Digital Solutions
  • Drive sales for SCADA, PPC, EMS and associated digital offerings
  • Achieve regional sales targets in North India

2. Customer Engagement

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across IPPs, EPCs, Utilities
  • Lead technical-commercial discussions and influence solution positioning

3. Bid & Contract Management

  • Coordinate with pre-sales for solution configuration and costing
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract closure

4. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor strategies, pricing benchmarks and regional opportunities
  • Provide inputs for regional growth strategy in Renewable Digital domain

5. Sales to Delivery Handover

  • Ensure seamless transition from order booking to project execution team
  • Support initial project alignment where required
