Role Details

Designation: Commercial Vehicle Services Sales Lead / Manager Sub-Vertical: Logistics Risk Management Vertical: Property, Risk & VAS Logistics & Commercial Vehicle Risk Management

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales of Commercial Vehicle Value Added Services (IoT, Telematics, API Integrations, SaaS) across transporters and fleet owners Target customers insuring commercial vehicles as well as 3rd-party stakeholders such as schools, universities, ports, terminals, and logistics operators Develop deep understanding of GPS devices (fixed, portable, AIS-140 compliant) and support product deployment as per business needs Create and manage ancillary bundled products to strengthen the core Motor Insurance proposition Build a one-stop logistics solution platform addressing operational and risk management needs of transporters Analyze vehicle and driver data to generate risk scores, driving behavior insights, and analytical reports for motor underwriters Track insured commercial vehicle data and pitch value-added services to fleet customers as add-on solutions Incubate and manage long-term relationships with transporters and shippers Introduce and manage Transport Management Systems (TMS) aligned with current market trends Lead supply chainfocused projects that reduce transporter costs while strengthening insurance penetration

Primary focus: Sales of telematics & IoT-based value-added services (not direct motor insurance sales)

Expertise Required

Strong knowledge of GPS-based IoT devices for transportation use cases Proven experience in selling GPS/telematics solutions for commercial vehicles Ability to manage or sell solutions for large fleets (50,000+ vehicles) Create high-impact presentations showcasing telematics performance, productivity, and analytics Capability to conceptualize and develop cost-effective, competitive products in a dynamic industry

Skills & Competencies

Based in Delhi with willingness to travel extensively Strong sales mindset with excellent communication & presentation skills Confident, proactive, and relationship-driven personality Hands-on experience engaging with fleet owners and transport operators Strong network with GPS device manufacturers and telematics partners

Education & Experience

B.Tech preferred (Technical courses in Marketing / Telematics are a plus) 5+ years of experience in IoT / Telematics / GPS device sales
