Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive business development for our banking technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales mindset with the ability to position solutions and products to banks and financial institutions. Prior experience in banking technology is an advantage, but candidates with strong enterprise solution sales skills are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in top Pvt Banks and PSUs and other financial institutions.
- Promote and sell ISL IP product and Core Banking Services.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Engage with CXOs, IT Heads, Business Heads to understand requirements and communicate to delivery team.
- Conduct solution presentations, demos, and commercial discussions with clients.
- Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Pre-Sales & Solution Support
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and product teams to prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and presentations.
- Support solution positioning, effort estimation, and commercial structuring.
- Participate in client workshops, requirement discussions, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes impacting banks.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and management reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 34 years of experience in IT Sales preferably in Banking, or FinTech solutions.
- Strong understanding of solution selling and product sales concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
Good-to-Have (Advantage)
- Exposure to Core Banking, banking products or banking IT services/projects.
- Experience selling to Pvt and PSU banks and financial institutions.
- Familiarity with RFP/RFI processes, presales documentation, and proposal management.
