Role Description
Were hiring a high-ownership Sales Manager to lead and scale our Hyderabad sales outcomes. Youll manage a team of counsellors/inside sales reps, drive monthly admissions, improve conversion rates, and build a strong sales culture with tight execution.
- Own monthly/quarterly revenue and admissions targets for the Hyderabad centre
- Lead, coach, and scale an inside sales team (counsellors/telecallers)
- Set daily activity cadence: calls, follow-ups, walk-ins, demos, closures
- Improve funnel metrics: lead-to-call, call-to-demo, demo-to-enrolment, collections
- Run sales training, roleplays, call audits, and performance reviews weekly
- Ensure strong follow-up discipline using CRM (Zoho or equivalent)
- Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality and the feedback loop
- Drive walk-in conversions and centre-level sales operations
- Track reports daily: pipeline health, conversion, ageing leads, team performance
- Hire and onboard new counsellors as the team scales
- 510 years of sales experience with 2+ years managing a team
- Strong inside sales + counselling-led sales background (EdTech/Skilling is a plus)
- Proven record of hitting monthly targets consistently
- Excellent coaching skills: you can improve conversions, not just push targets
- Hands-on with CRM, call tracking, and basic analytics (Excel/Sheets)
- Strong communication in Telugu + English (Hindi is a bonus)
- High ownership mindset: you treat the number like its your business
- Experience in offline training institute sales / centre-based revenue
- Built sales processes (SOPs), scripts, and objection handling sheets
- Familiarity with WhatsApp follow-up flows and lead nurturing
- Monthly revenue/admissions achievement
- Team productivity: calls/day, follow-ups/day, demos/day, walk-ins/day
- Conversion improvements across funnel stages
- Lead ageing reduction + faster closure cycles
- Collections efficiency (fees collected vs booked)
- Team retention + ramp-up time for new hires
