Job Title: Sales Leader IT Staff Augmentation (VLSI & Semiconductor)
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Noida (Hybrid)

Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Sales Leader to build and scale our IT staff augmentation business for VLSI & Semiconductor clients. This role owns end-to-end revenue, including new logo acquisition, key account growth, offshore-onsite staffing deals, and long-term strategic partnerships with fabless, IDM, EDA, and semiconductor services companies.
You will work closely with Talent Acquisition, Delivery, and Engineering leadership to create a predictable pipeline of billable headcount and high-margin engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Growth Ownership
Own P&L and revenue targets for VLSI & Semiconductor staffing business
Drive contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent staffing deals
Build multi-quarter pipeline across India, US, Europe, and APAC
Achieve high utilization and low bench leakage
2. Client Acquisition & Account Expansion
Acquire new logos across:
Fabless semiconductor companies
IDMs
Foundry ecosystem
EDA & IP vendors
Automotive semiconductor & AI chip companies
Grow existing accounts via:
Ramp-ups (10 50 100+ engineers)
Cross-selling new skill areas
Long-term rate card & MSP agreements
3. Domain-led Selling (Critical)
Lead consultative sales discussions on:
ASIC / SoC design
RTL Design, Verification (UVM), DFT
Physical Design (PD)
Analog / Mixed Signal
FPGA Prototyping
Post-silicon validation
Embedded & Firmware
Translate client roadmaps into staffing demand forecasts
4. Staffing Deal Structuring
Structure:
Time & Material (T&M)
Dedicated team models
OffshoreOnsite staffing
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models
Own:
Pricing strategy
Margin optimization
Contract negotiations
Rate card approvals
5. Leadership & Internal Alignment
Mentor and scale:
Sales Managers
Account Managers
Work tightly with:
Talent Acquisition Heads
Delivery Managers
Finance & Legal
Drive forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene
Key Skills & Expertise
Mandatory
10+ years in IT staffing / staff augmentation sales
Strong experience selling to VLSI / Semiconductor clients
Proven record of 20+ Cr annual revenue
Deep understanding of:
Semiconductor hiring cycles
Contract staffing economics
Global compliance (US / EU staffing norms)
Strong CXO and VP Engineering connects
Preferred
Experience with MSP / VMS programs
Prior experience in semiconductor services companies
Exposure to GCC setup and scaling
Knowledge of rate cards, margin levers, and utilization metrics
