The Sales Head will lead the overall revenue growth, sales expansion, distribution development, product strategy alignment, and operational excellence. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, cross-functional coordination, exceptional planning abilities, and the drive to scale NGA into a high-performing, multi-channel premium brand in India and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Growth & Sales Targets
- Own the annual and quarterly Revenue Targets and drive consistent sales growth.
- Build and execute a clear sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly performance and take corrective actions proactively.
2. Business Development
- Liaise with and monitor all NGA distribution channels.
- Constantly identify and onboardnew sales channels, partners, boutiques, and pop-ups to achieve growth targets.
- Ensure strong brand visibility and premium representation acrossstandalone pop-ups in Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities .
- Build strong relationships with store owners, partners, and retail stakeholders.
3. Product Strategy & Collection Planning
- Lead the creation of theRange Plan for each collection in alignment with brand vision.
- Determineproduction quantities based on distribution potential, sales projections, and inventory planning.
- Buildproduct stories, themes, and collection narratives to support marketing & sales.
- Oversee Graphics & Website teams to ensure Social Media, Website & Ad strategy aligns with product strategy.
- Ensuretimely uploading of collection images and proper product representation on the NGA website.
4. Sales Strategy & MBO (Multi-Brand Outlet) Management
- Ensureconsistent product representation through updated Rack Images, Line Sheets, and display guidance.
- Implement systematicstock rotation , track inventory aging, and recommend liquidation strategies.
- Setstore-wise sales targets , develop store-level strategies, and ensure execution.
- Maintain smoothorder flow and fulfilment across all channels.
- Ensure all MBOs providetimely sales reports and reconcile discrepancies.
- Conduct monthly store visits or virtual touch-bases with store teams and owners.
- Oversee stock reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Drivetimely stock liquidation to maintain healthy inventory turnover.
5. Stock Management
- Oversee overallinventory health, stock replenishment, and reorder planning.
- Ensure accurate stock levels across warehouse, stores & pop-up locations.
- Lead liquidation of aged stock with planned timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong revenue ownership and analytical thinking
- Deep experience in Retail / Fashion / D2C / Premium Brand management
- Exceptional communication & negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of product, merchandising & consumer insights
- Ability to multitask across sales, product, operations & events
- Leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail with strong planning and execution discipline
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / Fashion Retail / D2C
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in a retail brand
- Bachelors degree in Business, Fashion Management, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
