Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation (FIELD FOCUSED):
Proactively research, identify, and build a continuous pipeline of high-potential prospects (as defined by SM criteria) within the assigned territory, using a mix of field visits, strategic outreach, and industry networking.
New Customer Acquisition (CONSULTATIVE):
Execute the full, complex sales process for identified prospects. Conduct deep needs analysis, present tailored, high-value solutions, and lead in-person negotiations to close deals.
Lead Self-Qualification:
Proactively qualify all prospects against the "Qualified Lead" criteria to ensure all sales efforts are focused on high-value opportunities.
Handoff (NEW): Identify and hand-off "High-Velocity" or smaller-potential accounts (that do not require field visits) to the Sales - Indoor team.
Portfolio Management:
Manage and maintain relationships with the assigned portfolio of existing general customers to ensure retention and identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
Achieve Targets:
Responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, including new high-potential leads generated, new business revenue, and growth from the existing portfolio.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction within the portfolio through excellent service and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role within the shipping or logistics industry.
Skill & Competency: Closing Skills, Consultative Selling, Negotiation, Relationship Management
