Executing weddings across geographies, budget brackets, and unique client preferences requires exceptional digital and offline capabilities. Weddings are a single-take service, there are no second chances, and come with a unique set of operational challenges.

Role Overview
The Decor Sales Executive (DSE) is the primary client-facing role responsible for driving revenue through expert consultation and sales closure of decor services. The DSE manages the client relationship from initial contact to securing the final booking, ensuring the client's aesthetic vision is matched with the project's budget and logistical needs.
The DSE focuses heavily on client engagement, consultative selling, design finalization, and financial closure.
- Client Discovery and Consultation
- Lead Client Discovery: Lead the initial discovery phase with prospective clients to understand their needs.
- Vision Capture: Expertly capture the clients aesthetic vision, budget constraints, and logistical requirements for the event.
- Design Brief Finalization: Collaborate with internal teams to create automated or manual mood boards and finalize the comprehensive client design brief.
- Sales, Quoting, and Negotiation
- Quotation Generation: Generate accurate and timely final price quotes using the automated pricing tool, ensuring profitability and alignment with the client brief.
- Negotiation & Booking: Lead the final negotiations on price, terms, and services with the client.
- Sales Closure: Secure the client booking and finalize the service agreement.
- Documentation: Send the final service confirmation email, detailing payment terms and documentation of the promised offering.
- Feedback Integration: Submit captured on-ground client quotes/feedback to the appropriate internal teams to aid in client recovery, NPS dashboard updates, and refinement of consultation style.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in consultative sales, account management, or a similar client-facing role, preferably in events, decor, or luxury services.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and securing bookings.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- A strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and the ability to articulate a visual vision to a client.
- High proficiency in financial documentation, invoicing, and payment follow-up processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple client pipelines simultaneously.
Experience
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within the events, wedding, or decor industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
