THEROLE
As aSales Executiveat Ocular, you will be the face of the company to Indian industrial buyers. Your job is simple: find companies that need custom parts manufactured, show them how Ocular solves their problem, and convert them into long-term clients.
This is a hunter role. You will be building your pipeline from scratch, meeting procurement heads and engineers, and closing deals.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identifyand approach industrial companies-machine builders, automation firms, EV startups, marine equipment manufacturers-that need custom parts, equipmentmanufactured.
- Build a pipeline of qualified prospects through cold outreach, industrial clusters visits, LinkedIn, and referrals.
- Attend trade events, industrial exhibitions, and MSME networks to generate leads.
2. Sales & Deal Closure
- Understand customer requirements-drawings, materials, quantities, timelines-and brief the technical team for quotation.
- Present Ocular's capabilities and value proposition confidently to procurement managers and engineers.
- Follow up on quotations, handle objections, negotiate commercially, and close orders.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
3. Account Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
- Act as the single point of contact between the client and Ocular's operations team.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients onto the Ocular platform.
4. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging customer needs.
- Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market requirements and product gaps.
WHOYOU ARE
Must-Have
- 25 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, engineering products, or industrial services.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings or at least understand manufacturing processes.
- Strong communicationskills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
- Self-driven, comfortable with field sales, and hungry to build something.
- Existingnetworksor contacts in industrial companies in Pune, Mumbai, or nearby clusters is a strong advantage.
Good to Have
- Experienceselling toprocurement heads, plant managers, or engineering teams.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, or contract manufacturing.
- Experience using a CRM tool for pipeline management.
