Job Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of street light poles and related infrastructure products in the assigned territory. The role involves business development, liaison with government departments, contractors, and EPC players, handling tenders, and achieving sales targets in Vijayawada and Hyderabad regions.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for street light poles, high mast poles, and related products.
- Generate leads from government departments, municipalities, contractors, EPC companies, and private developers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
Government & Tender Coordination
- Liaise with municipal corporations, smart city projects, PWD, electrical departments , and other government bodies.
- Track tenders, RFQs, and enquiries related to street lighting and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical specifications, pricing, and documentation.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct regular site visits, customer meetings, and product presentations.
- Address customer queries, negotiate pricing, and close orders.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market demand in Vijayawada & Hyderabad.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams for timely execution of orders.
- Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS.
