Job Description

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative with a strong ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and convert opportunities into successful sales.


Altered Security is an information security startup with focus on edtech, hands-on learning and focused security assessments. It has offices in India and Singapore.


We are experts in information security training, cyber ranges, online labs and security assessments. We have trained more than 50000+ information security professionals from more than 130+ countries across the globe through our in-person and online trainings.


Role Overview

As a Sales Executive at Altered Security, you will play a key role in expanding our enterprise, corporate, and bulk training business. You will work closely with leadership and technical teams to understand customer needs and position Altered Securitys red team labs, certifications, and training programs as high-impact solutions.

This role involves owning deals end-to-end, including discovery, solution mapping, proposal discussions, and closures - with a strong focus on long-term relationships rather than transactional sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities across enterprises, corporate teams, training partners, and bulk buyers.
  • Generate leads through outbound outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn), inbound inquiries, referrals, and events.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer goals related to red teaming, Active Directory security, cloud security, and upskilling.
  • Present and position Altered Securitys labs, certifications, and training programs in a clear, value-driven manner.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle - from first conversation to deal closure and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM or tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to refine messaging and improve customer experience.
  • Stay informed about cybersecurity training trends, competitive offerings, and enterprise buying behavior.



Who You Are

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition.
  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, edtech, or cybersecurity sales is a strong advantage.
  • You are self-driven, target oriented, and comfortable owning your process end-to-end.
  • You have strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Youre passionate about cybersecurity, technology, or professional development.
  • You can translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences.
