Job Description: Business Development Manager - Sales

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager - Sales is responsible for driving the growth of the laser machine manufacturing company by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding market trends, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets. The candidate should possess a strong technical background, sales acumen, and industry knowledge to effectively promote laser machines and related solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential customers in industries where laser machines are used (e.g., automotive, electronics, medical devices, aerospace).
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate laser machine solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales consultation, product demonstrations, and technical insights to clients.
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's laser machine products and their applications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to customize solutions as per client needs.
  • Address technical queries and ensure seamless integration of products into clients' operations.
  1. Negotiation and Closing:
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals while maintaining profitability.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.
  1. Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer inputs and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in CRM systems.
  1. Post-Sales Support:
  • Coordinate with the service and technical teams to ensure timely installation and after-sales support.
  • Gather client feedback to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.



Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree & above.
  • Experience: 2 years & above in sales, preferably in the Machines manufacturing or laser technology industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Laser machines, their applications, and related technologies.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver impactful. presentations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends, customer data, and sales metrics.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
