Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Director / Senior Sales Executive with strong experience in engineering services sales (AI/ML, Video, Embedded Systems, Sensor Engineering, Semiconductor, Automotive, Industrial Automation).
This role is responsible for end-to-end enterprise sales ownership, key account growth, strategic customer engagement, and achieving multi-million-dollar booking targets across global markets.
Strictly NOT for SaaS / Product / Inside Sales / Pre-Sales / Lead Generation / Customer Success backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies.
- Drive annual booking targets and account growth.
- Identify customer requirements aligned with company capabilities.
- Lead opportunity qualification, quotation management, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Close enterprise deals with values USD 500K+.
Enterprise Account Management
- Manage up to 100 strategic accounts.
- Build and maintain organizational charts for accounts exceeding USD 100K annual revenue.
- Establish relationships with CXOs, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct periodic business review meetings with key accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Unit Heads, VP Sales, and CRO.
- Align go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies.
- Coordinate with Sales Operations for account governance.
- Review FCM, FTM, SOW, and negotiations with leadership.
CRM & Forecasting
- Maintain CRM (U Pilot) with accurate opportunity tracking.
- Provide rolling forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, 12-month pipeline).
- Track deal values, status, and progression consistently.
Reporting & Governance
- Create customer visit and sales reports.
- Escalate risks and customer concerns appropriately.
- Support operational needs across business units.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of engineering services sales experience.
- Strong exposure to:
- AI/ML Solutions
- Video / Embedded Systems
- Sensor Engineering
- Semiconductor / Automotive / Industrial Automation / Media
- Experience in International Sales (US / Europe / APAC preferred).
- Proven track record of closing USD 500K+ enterprise deals.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-geo enterprise organizations.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
