The Role
We're hiring a driven SDR to own a top-of-funnel outbound pipeline for North American markets prospecting and qualifying enterprise retail accounts, then handing off well-prepared meetings to our senior sales team. You'll be based in Pune / Bangalore, playing a key role in building MishiPay's footprint.
About You
You MUST be a SDR with technology outbound sales experience, targetting Enterprise clients within North America/USA. Ideally you'll have sold to retailers. Your English commnunications skills will be excellent. It's essential that you have a year of experience. If you have not sold to Enterprise in these markets, then we cannot take your application further.
Key Responsibilities
- Run high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls (40+ dials/day), email sequences, and LinkedIn targeting US enterprise retailers across grocery, apparel, airports, convenience, and experiential retail.
- Build targeted account lists and craft personalized outreach to decision-makers VP Operations, VP IT, Head of Retail Technology using Lemlist, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Qualify outbound leads against ICP and BANT criteria; map retailer pain points (checkout friction, labor costs, shrinkage) to MishiPay's solutions.
- Book and brief senior Account Executives on qualified meetings with full context and stakeholder background.
- Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot and report weekly on outreach volume, connect rate, and meetings booked.
- Monitor the retail tech landscape for timely outreach triggers and share intel with the broader team.
About You
Must-Haves
- At least 12 months in an outbound SDR / BDR role with proven experience targeting enterprise accounts you can speak to your numbers.
- Cold calling is non-negotiable: track record of running cold call campaigns into enterprise buyers, navigating gatekeepers, and handling objections.
- Daily hands-on use of Lemlist (or Outreach / Salesloft / Apollo), HubSpot CRM, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent written and spoken English sharp, tailored outreach; never templated.
- Self-directed, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Background in retail tech, SaaS, POS, ERP, or similar B2B technology products.
- Experience with multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and longer sales cycles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
